Thoughts of a Canadian University Student

Tuesday, June 15, 2004

Oy, I didn't realize my last post posted so many times. Blogger was behaving badly (oooh alliteration) so I think it published a bunch of times.

This weekend was OK, Ang and I spa-ed it up on Friday night, while watching "What Women Want". This resulted in the unforunate side-effect of my hair being dyed orange instead of strawberry blonde. On Saturday we headed to the mall and got ice cream at the Marble Slab Creamery, and then had fondue while watching "Bridget Jones's Diary". Sunday I went and got my hair fixed at the Raymond-Hennessey Salon in Chinook, so it is now a really wicked reddish-brown. Auburn if you will. I also sewed Elizabeth's apron, now all it requires is for me to whipstitch the waist band down. I am avoiding that because I hate hand-sewing with a passion. Don't worry I promise it'll get done.

I went to the core lab today, and logged a bunch of core, which was actually interesting. Then I came home and Angela and I decided to watch the English Debate, since we're both still deciding who to vote for. It, of course, turned into a cat-fight, in which they all promised 50 million things the won't have time or money to do in office, at which point Angela commented "it was a lot easier when we dealt with piles of furs".
